To combat this, it’s vital to spend some of your time away from the business, doing things that help you spark joy, relax and reduce those stress levels.

Let’s look at five tactics for boosting your work/life balance.

Make time for breaks – Just like meetings, personal time should be scheduled too. Block out time for family, hobbies, and relaxation, and stick to it!

Enjoy life during the week – Don’t wait for the weekend to have fun. A mid-week family dinner or hobby time can help keep burnout at bay.

Prioritize hobbies – Doing what you love outside of work keeps you refreshed and motivated. Whether it’s reading, painting, or playing music, make space for joy.

Give back – Supporting a charity or volunteering brings fulfilment beyond business success.

Focus on wellness – Create small rituals that help you transition from work to personal time, like a walk or listening to music.
